Boo Y’all!

Boo Y’all!
Today I have a confession to share with you. I don’t always like decorating for a holidays. There I said it…maybe you think because I write a blog, and make all kinds of home decor items I would love to decorate, but I have a hard time keeping up with the everyday mess and by decorating my house for a holiday at the end of the day, just means more work, and I am tired all ready. So I have held out and not decorated for Halloween the past few years, but after five years of bagging, my sweet husband finally convinced me to give our house the Halloween touch. Honestly, I don’t think I had a single original idea while decorating; I just followed the queen of Halloween Decorations Martha Stewart’s play list, and boy is her play list fun.

It is really simple, take beautiful arrangements and make them spooky with creepy-crawly spiders, bats, goblins, snakes, and skeletons. Here are a few of my favorite arrangements.

OK this chandelier is a little spooky, but my kids love it! I have always hated this chandelier so any chance I get to decorate it I do. Fabric web is so cheap! (averages about a $1 per package and can be found at any dollar/Halloween store this time of year) I bought a bag of skeletons and zombies for a couple bucks. And this chandelier is done!

It was a great evening with friends to kick off the season! Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
